JAGUARS RETURN HOME TO FACE MILWAUKEE

IUPUI begins a three-game homestand to close out the regular season with a matchup against the Panthers.

INDIANAPOLIS – After winning its 20th game for the third-straight season, the IUPUI women's basketball team can set its sight on trying to clinch the No. 2 seed in the Horizon League Tournament.
 
The Jags begin a three-game homestand to close out the season on Monday as they play host to Milwaukee at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN3 with Scott Agness on the play-by-play call.
 
IUPUI is coming off of a three-game stretch of some of its best offense of the season. The Jags are averaging 86 points per game in their last three games and scored 90 or more points twice, including 91 against Detroit Mercy the last time the Jags took the court.
 
#Danielle Lawrence# led the Jags in the win over Detroit Mercy, scoring 28 points and reached 1,500 career points in the process. #Macee Williams# finished with 14 points and #Holly Hoopingarner# added 13.
 
LAST MEETING
The first meeting of the season between the Jags and Milwaukee came down to a buzzer-beating layup by #Tamya Sims# to give IUPUI a two-point win. All five starters finished in double-figures with Williams leading the way with 22 points. No player off the bench scored a point for the Jags.
 
SCOUTING MILWAUKEE
Milwaukee comes in to the matchup with an 18-9 overall record and a 9-6 mark in Horizon League play. The Panthers had lost three-straight before beating Cleveland State 69-63 on Saturday.
 
Three Panthers are scoring in double-figures on the year with Steph Kostowicz leading the team at 14.4 points per game. Jenny Lindner (13.6 ppg) and Bailey Farley (11.4 ppg) follow Kostowicz.
 
QUOTABLE
"Milwaukee is coming off of a big win and have a senior group who will be extremely motivated," said head coach #Austin Parkinson#. "It was a back and forth game at their place and I would expect something similar this time around."
 
The Jags will finish out the season with games against Wright State on Friday (Feb. 23) and Northern Kentucky (Feb. 25).
