INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI Athletics Department has announced the Hall of Fame Class of 2019 as Elizabeth (Bourgeois) Schaller, Ron Hunter and Kristi (O'Brien) Moster make up the latest group of honorees. All three will officially be inducted on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 in a ceremony at the downtown Indianapolis Marriott.

Bourgeois was a four-year letterwinner with the women's swimming program, setting multiple school records in her career as a sprint freestyle and butterfly athlete. She closed her career with six school records and ranked among the program's all-time leaders in podium finishes. She remains among the program's top 10 in the 50 and 100 free as well as the 100 and 200 butterfly. In addition, she competed in virtually every championship relay of her career, including helping set a school record in the 400 medley relay. Academically, she was named the university's Most Outstanding Female Student at the 2013 Top 100 Dinner. Previously, she was named the department's 2012 Michael A. Carroll Scholarship winner for her work athletically, academically and in the community. She was involved with IUPUI's Preparing Outstanding Women for Engineering Roles (POWER) Camp, Project Lead the Way and the School of Engineering & Technology Student Council. She earned her degree in mechanical engineering and remains an ambassador for the swimming and diving and E&T programs.

Hunter, who guided the IUPUI basketball program from 1994-2011, remains the program's all-time leader in wins (275), winning percentage (.557), games coached (494), winning seasons (11) and 20-win seasons (4). He was at the helm of the program during the elevation from NCAA Division II to NCAA Division I status prior to the 1998-99 season. He guided IUPUI to its only ever NCAA Division I NCAA Tournament appearance in 2003, leading the Jaguars to a 20-14 mark while winning the Mid-Continent Conference Tournament in Kansas City, Mo.. Led by future NBAer George Hill, Hunter's 2007-08 team won a school record 26 games and registered a final RPI of No. 72. Two years later, his team went 25-11 and collected the program's first-ever Division I postseason win, winning on the road in the opening round of the College Basketball Invitational. He was a two-time league Coach of the Year and was largely the face of the program throughout his tenure.

He earned national acclaim for his work with Samaritan's Feet as the first in the country to coach a game in his bare feet in January 2008 to raise awareness for those in need. He later personally delivered shoes to individuals in Peru and Costa Rica. He collected numerous honors for his philanthropic work including being named a 2008 ABC News Person of the Year, the 2010 Indiana Pathfinder Award recipient, an NABC Guardians of the Game Pillar Award for Service and awards from National Consortium for Academics and Sport, Center for Leadership Development, Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Public Schools, Indiana Commission on Social Status and the IU Foundation. Since leaving IUPUI, he has gone on to become Georgia State's career wins leader while taking the Panthers to multiple NCAA Tournaments.

O'Brien was one of the first true four-year standout players in the history of the women's golf program, finishing her career as IUPUI's all-time leader in rounds played (93) and stroke average (80.00). She still remains in the program's top-5 in both categories and is the program's all-time leader in tournament victories (5). She was all-league as a senior after posting a then-school record 76.96 stroke average during the 2011-12 season. Her junior season, she registered a 79.04 scoring average, which still ranks among the program's top 15 single seasons all-time.

Her success extended beyond the IUPUI uniform as she was the 2011 Indiana State Player of the Year and Indiana Women's Amateur Champion that same year. She's a two-time winner of the Fort Wayne City Amateur and turned professional in 2013. She competed on the Symetra Tour in 2014 after having advanced to Stage II of LPGA Q-School. Her game was highlighted on a larger stage as she was featured on the Golf Channel's Big Break Florida, a reality show in which players compete for exemptions into selected professional events or full season tours.

With the three newest additions, the IUPUI Hall of Fame now stands at 72 individuals and four teams. To see the full Hall of Fame list, click here.
