INDIANAPOLIS - Team White beat Team Red 31-25 in the annual Women's Basketball Red-White Scrimmage to kick of the season for the Jaguars on Thursday night (Oct. 25).

Senior Sydney Hall led the White squad with nine points, hitting three shots, including one three-point basket. Horizon League Preseason Player of the Year Macee Williams was second on the team with eight points and finished with a game-high 10 rebounds. Behind the two leaders, Allex Brown added seven points, Agatha Beier scored three and Brittany Welch and Briana Mishler each added two.

Team Red was led by DePaul transfer Rachel McLimore who score eight points on 4-for-5 shooting. Sophomore Sydney Roule was second on the team with seven points and pulled down a team-high seven rebounds. Katelyn O'Reilly and Taylor Ramey each scored three and Morgan Allen and Holly Hoopingarner each scored two points. 

IUPUI will get to play a team other than themselves on Friday (Nov. 2) as the Jags host IU-Kokomo at 7 p.m. in the Jungle.
