GREEN BAY, Wisc. - In need of a victory, the IUPUI women's soccer team will hit the road for one final time during the regular season on Saturday (Oct. 20) when the Jaguars take on Green Bay (2-12-1, 0-6-1 HL) at 1:00 p.m. Central (2 Eastern). The Jaguars come in having lost three straight 1-0 decisions, the last two coming in overtime. IUPUI (5-9-3, 2-4-1 HL) took Horizon League leader Milwaukee to overtime on Wednesday before falling in the 96th minute. Previously, the Jags lost at Wright State in the 93rd minute.
Junior goalkeeper
Sophia Lipka has been brilliant of late, dropping her goals against average to 1.10 for the year with six shutouts. In league play, she has a 0.82 goals against averaging, having yielded just six goals in seven games. On Wednesday, she kept the Jaguars in the game by stopping a penalty kick in the first half as part of her six saves. Sophomore back

Morgan Rymer played all 95 minutes in the defensive midfield.
Offensively, IUPUI has stalled of late as the Jags have now been shutout seven times this season and in four of seven Horizon League games. Sophomore
Miranda Ricks continues to lead the Jags with 11 points (2 goals, 7 assists) and freshman
Elizabeth Bueckers has a team-high four goals. Sophomore
Valentine Pursey has scored three game-winners and junior midfielder
Emma Chambers has four assists.
IUPUI is just 2-7-1 on the road this season, but had won back-to-back road games at UIC and Illinois State before the recent three-game slide.

MAKING THE GRADE: IUPUI was recognized on Wednesday (Oct. 4) with the United Soccer Coaches 2017-18 College Team Academic Award. To qualify, a team must have a collective GPA of 3.0 or better. IUPUI was one of 192 programs (four in the HL) to be honored on both the men's and women's sides.
SCOUTING GREEN BAY: Green Bay is 2-12-1 overall and 0-6-1 in league play. McKayla Kertscher has three goals and three assists while Alycia Wright also has nine points with four goals and an assist. Collectively, Green Bay has been outscored 36-11 for the year and outshot by a 2-to-1 margin through 15 games. In goal, three different keepers have earned starts, combining on a 2.33 goals against average and .690 save percentage. Courtney Klatt has played the bulk of the minutes with a 2.20 GAA and 54 saves in 11 appearances.
INSIDE THE SERIES: IUPUI is 1-1-1 all-time against Green Bay after winning last year's meeting by a 3-0 score. Pursey netted the game-winner in that contest in the 30th minute and
