QUOTABLE: "I was proud of the cumulative effort that Uriel put forward today," head coach #
Brian Barnett# said after the 1-1 draw with Eastern Illinois. "Today, he did a lot of the little things that contributed to an overall effort. I thought he was very engaged in the attack, did a good job of tracking back and defending when we needed him to and made an effort to get his teammates involved. As a senior, I think he kind of set the tone today and had one of his best games of the year."
CLOSE, BUT...: Six of IUPUI's 13 losses have come by a single goal, including three Horizon League defeats.
JAGS IN THE COMMUNITY: Barnett and the Jaguars began a season-long partnership with Indianapolis Public Schools on Friday (Oct. 20), visiting a local school as part of the
'Real Men Read' mentoring program. In addition, IUPUI team members took part in the annual IUPUI Day of Caring on Saturday (Oct. 21), working primarily with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, planting trees throughout the day.
