Barksdale is the lone current Jaguar to have faced the Golden Eagles, having gone scoreless in 18 minutes of action in the two meetings (both ORU wins).

Marcellus Barksdale,
Leo Svete and
DavRon Williams are the only Jags to have led the team in scoring in more than once. IUPUI has eight players scoring between 4.9 and 9.1 points per game.

FIVE COUNT - QUICK TIDBITS FROM THE LAST GAMEIUPUI 63, IPFW 58 - Jan. 3 - Fort Wayne, Ind. (Gates Sports Center)NO. 1 STUNNA    IUPUI, picked to finish last according to the preseason polls, picked off preseason favorite Fort Wayne on Sunday, 63-58. Junior
Marcellus Barksdale led the way with 19 points and freshman
Aaron Brennan chipped in 12 in the upset victory. The win was the Jaguars' first Summit League opening win since 2010 and first conference road win since a Feb. 2012 74-68 win at NDSU.
LOW TURNOVERS    IUPUI's seven turnovers at Fort Wayne on Sunday were a season-low and led to just seven IPFW points off turnovers. The Jaguars had just two first half miscues en route to building a 34-25 lead at the break.
WORKING INSIDE    IUPUI outscored IPFW 36-18 in the paint, thanks largely to the work of
Aaron Brennan (12 pts),
DavRon Williams (8 pts) and
Elijah Ray (6 pts). The Jaguars shot better than 58 percent (25-of-43) inside the three-point line, led by Brennan's 6-of-7 shooting night.
SEASON-HIGH    IUPUI shot a season-high 90.9 percent (10-of-11) at the foul line on Sunday, including making all five attempts in the final 34 seconds. Barksdale had a key three-point play with 33.6 seconds left and he and
DavRon Williams each swished a pair apiece.
NEW FIVE    IUPUI used another new starting five on Sunday, re-inserting senior
Khufu Najee and adding freshman
Leo Svete for the first time all year. That duo was joined by
Marcellus Barksdale,
Aaron Brennan and
Justus Stanback. Barksdale is the only Jaguar to have started all 15 games this season.

IUPUI has nine players averaging at least 14 minutes per game and 10 in double-digits.
LOW LEADER    Barksdale's 9.1 points per game scoring average would easily be the lowest total to lead the Jaguars in a single-season in program history. The lowest scoring output to lead the Jaguars in a season is 12.4 points per game by Charles Price in 2001-02.
HITTING 70    IUPUI is 3-0 this season when scoring at least 70 points and 2-9 when failing to reach that number.
SLIM WINS     IUPUI is 4-2 in games decided by five points or less this season and have won their five games by a combined 17 points. The Jaguars' largest margin of victory this season was the 71-65 victory over South Alabama on Dec. 20.
LOOKING FOR 2-0    IUPUI hasn't started 2-0 in Summit League play since 2009-10 when the Jaguars won three straight to open league play. The opening wins were a 79-57 win over SDSU and an 86-74 victory over NDSU.
KNOCK DOWN    IUPUI is 4-2 this season when shooting a higher field goal percentage than its opponent and 0-8 when being outshot. The Jaguars have yet to hit 50 percent or better from the field in a game this season.
47 STRAIGHT    Junior Marcellus Barksdale has now started 47 straight games, dating back to the 2012-13 season opener. No other IUPUI player has started more than 13 straight games (Aaron Brennan). Barksdale is the only Jag to start every game this season.
BENCHMARKS    Marcellus Barksdale hit some career milestones at N.C. Central on Dec. 29, scoring his 500th career point and grabbing his 350th career rebound.
MR. INDISPENSABLE    While Gardner has shown a deep and versatile bench, the one constant for the Jaguars this season is junior guard Marcellus Barksdale. The 6-foot-5 veteran is playing more than 32 minutes per game (almost six more than his closest competitor), ranking among the league's top players. Barksdale leads the team in scoring (9.1 ppg), free throws made (45) and steals (30) and is second in rebounding (4.5 rpg) and assists (2.3 apg).
BENCH PRODUCTION    Through 15 games, IUPUI's bench has scored 404 of the team's 894 points, equivalent to 45 percent of the team's scoring. The IUPUI bench has outscored the opposition in 12 of the season's 15 games.
MR. REBOUND    Senior DavRon Williams has earned his stripes on the glass this season, accounting for IUPUI's top six rebounding games of the year. Included among those six are three double-digit rebounding efforts, including a career-best 13 at N.C. Central.
Williams has led IUPUI in rebounding in eight of 15 games, including the Jaguars' last three.
GRADE CHECK    Seven members of the team posted a 3.0 GPA or better during the fall semester. Included in that group were Aaron Brennan, Josh James, D.J. McCall, Khufu Najee, Matt O'Leary, Nick Osborne and Justus Stanback.
