“Sarah is very new to the sport and her upside is tremendous. Sarah really just started training full time this past year, so we will look for her to develop both in the pool as well as the weight room over the next couple of years.” – Head Coach Matt Bos

Madison Taylor, Forsyth, GA (50 Freestyle - 24.17; 100 Freestyle - 52.74; 200 Freestyle - 1:56.32)
“Madison is an extremely strong athlete who we expect to be a mainstay on our sprint relays throughout her career. Madison is mainly a 50 and 100 swimmer, but has the ability to swim the 200, which is something we will look to develop.” – Head Coach Matt Bos

“Karyn is an enthusiastic kid who will add some much needed depth to our butterfly events. Karyn is still very raw and will benefit from a college training program.” – Head Coach Matt Bos

Team re-wrote the school record books at the Summit League Championships breaking 16 school marks en route to a fourth-place finish.

IUPUI went 9-1 in dual, tri-, and quad-meets with its lone loss coming to Oakland.
KEY STAT:

At the Summit League Championships, IUPUI broke 16 school-records, with its most impressive coming in the 800 freestyle where the quartet of Bourgeois, Zehner, Oleksiak and Hurst broke the previous school record by more than 20 seconds.
REASON FOR OPTIMISM:

IUPUI returns all but 40 points it earned from the Summit League Championships.

The Jags mix a talented group of newcomers with an established collection of returners poised to continue the program’s rise up the Summit League standings.
