INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams host their final meet of the season on Saturday, Feb. 4, when they welcome Butler and Rose-Hulman to the IU Natatorium. The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.

The Jags are coming off losses to Oakland University last weekend in both men’s and women’s action, but there was more benefit to the trip than just competing. Oakland’s OU Aquatics Center is the site of the 2012 Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships and only four athletes on the men’s and women’s rosters combined had swum in that pool prior to last weekend’s meet.
This weekend, IUPUI will take on in-state rivals Butler and Rose-Hulman and the Jaguars will look to pick up a pair of wins giving them some momentum heading into the conference meet which begins in less than two weeks.
“We’re looking forward to swimming in a familiar environment this weekend as we continue our preparation for the conference championships,” said head coach
Matt Bos. “With all of our training geared around getting ready for the Summit League meet, it will be good to get in the pool and focus on competing this weekend.”
