INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI basketball team will cap the 2011-12 home slate on Wednesday (Feb. 15) night when the Jaguars host the University of South Dakota on "Pack the House" Night. Wednesday's game will tip-off at 7:00 p.m. with the senior trio of Christian Siakam, Stephen Thomas and Alex Young being honored immediately before the contest before playing in their final home game.

The contest can be heard on WNDE.com or via the iHeartRadio app available on smartphones. In addition, the game can be viewed live on the web with the IUPUI LIVE! subscription service as Scott McCauley (pxp) calls the action. Reserved tickets are available for just $10 and all IUPUI students with a valid JagTag will be admitted for free. In addition to free admission, students in attendance will be treated to a mystery giveaway while supplies last.

IUPUI (11-16, 5-10 Summit) has won three out of four outings in the month of February including Saturday's 66-53 win at Southern Utah. The Jaguars dominated the second half of the game at the defensive end of the floor, limiting the Thunderbirds to just 18 points total and a 1-of-17 start from the floor. IUPUI trailed by one at the break, but started the second half with an 18-5 run and never let the T-Birds back in the contest. Senior Alex Young finished with a game-high 22 points on 7-of-15 shooting and sophomore Ian Chiles added 14 points and six boards in the victory.

IUPUI held SUU to just 35.8 percent from the floor en route to the team's first road win of the season.

Jackson Stevenett led SUU with 13 points as IUPUI avenged an earlier loss to the T-Birds to capture a regular season series split. IUPUI will have revenge on its mind once again on Wednesday having lost 88-78 at South Dakota back on Jan. 19.

Young led three Jaguars in double-digits with 27 points in that contest and Chiles finished with 18 points and a season-high seven assists. Siakam added 15 points and was one of three Jags to grab seven boards as IUPUI outrebounded the Coyotes 37-26. However, Charlie Westbrook scored a career-high 32 points for the Yotes and Louie Krogman added 21 points and nine assists in the win.

A victory would cap the Jaguars' regular season with a three-game home winning streak and an 11-5 mark home record this season. Wednesday's game is just the second-ever between the two schools as USD joined The Summit League beginning this season.

Young will look to continue his torrid play of late as he's now 10th in the country in scoring average at 20.9 points per game. The 6-foot-6 lefty leads all of Division I men's basketball with 2,198 career points and has hit double-figures in 106 games. On Saturday, he scored 20 or more for the 50th time in his career, easily outdistancing George Hill's 40 for the top spot in that category in IUPUI's Division I era.

Westbrook leads USD (9-15, 4-11 Summit) in scoring (18.2 ppg) and steals (45) and is one of three Yotes to have started all 24 games this season. Krogman is averaging 15.5 points per game and has hit 59 treys in 24 games, hitting 35.3 percent from beyond the arc. Ricardo Andreotti is USD's top rebounder at 7.1 per game and has swatted a team-high 32 shots while playing just 23.9 minutes per game. USD is just 3-10 away from home this year with its lone Summit League road win coming at UMKC on Jan. 7.
