VALPARAISO, Ind. - The IUPUI women's soccer team will be heading up I-65 to Valparaiso this weekend to take on a pair of first time opponents as part of the Crusader Classic. On Friday night, the Jaguars will play Air Force at 6:30 p.m. at Brown Field before taking on Campbell at Eastgate Field at noon on Sunday.

The Jaguars (1-5-2) are coming off a pair of losses inside the state of Ohio last weekend, dropping a 4-0 count at Kent State on Friday and a 3-2 decision at Cleveland State on Sunday. Senior Megan Hock and sophomore Sarah Colby each scored in Sunday's game, but the Jaguars squandered a 2-1 halftime lead in the loss. Hock leads the team with three goals and freshman Taylor Heidorn is tied for the team lead in points with two goals and two assists. Sophomore defender Kristin Pierce is tied with Heidorn for the team lead in assists. In goal, sophomore Kristin Haseley has a 1.47 goals against average and started five of the team's eight matches. In front of her, senior back Margaret Allgeier is the lone Jag to have started all eight games so far this season.

Air Force (4-5) is led by sophomore McKenna Fox's four goals and two assists and has outscored its opponents 14-12 this year. Nine different goal scorers have contributed to the team's 14 tallies this season.

Campbell (4-3) has dropped three of four decisions since starting the year 3-0. Ashley Clark leads the Camels with four goals, including scoring three game-winners already this season. Ryann Torrero has been strong between the posts, registering a 1.13 GAA and 27 stops this season.
