INDIANAPOLIS - Having put together three solid halves in a row, the IUPUI women's soccer team looks to continue its upward trend when it hosts Eastern Illinois at Kuntz Stadium on Friday night (Sept. 2) at 7:00 p.m.. IUPUI (1-3) is fresh off its first win of the year, having knocked off Eastern Michigan in double overtime on Sunday.
EIU (0-3) is winless on the young season, having dropped contests at Northern Iowa, Missouri and Belmont. Kristin Germann has the Panthers lone tally of the year, having scored in the 82nd minute of a 4-1 loss at Missouri. In goal, Jessica Taldone has a 1.73 GAA and 17 saves having seen the bulk of the team's action. Ashley Streid paces the attack with seven shots in three matches.
IUPUI is 0-4 all-time against EIU, having been shutout in each of the past three meetings. The visiting Panthers have outscored IUPUI 11-1 all-time, including 2-0 in both teams season opener a year ago.

Kristin Haseley has been solid of late, allowing just one goal in her last 151 minutes. She posted a career-high 11 saves in the double overtime win over EMU on Sunday.
