SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - With it's 79-55 win over No. 6 UMKC on Sunday night, the IUPUI basketball team earned a third meeting with No. 2 Oral Roberts (18-14) in the second semifinal of The Summit League Tournament on Monday evening. Tipoff is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Eastern as the game will be broadcast on ESPN3 and Midco Sports. Scott McCauley (play-by-play) will call the action from courtside on 88.3 FM / The Walk with pregame coverage beginning at approximately 9:25.

ORU swept the regular season series with the Jaguars including a 92-74 drubbing of IUPUI (19-13) in Tulsa on Feb. 24. The Golden Eagles won the initial meeting in Indianapolis on Dec. 4 when sophomore guard Warren Niles dropped in the game-winning runner with 0.2 seconds to play.

Senior Leroy Nobles erupted in the Jaguars' win on Sunday night, scoring a career-high 37 points, including stroking six threes. His 37 points were one shy of tying Bill Edwards' (Wright State) Summit League Tournament record of 38 against UIC on Mar. 8, 1993.

Nobles scored 18 first half points as the Jaguars turned an early 13-3 deficit into a 37-27 halftime lead. The 6-foot-5 sharpshooter stayed hot in the second half as the Jaguars led by double-digits over the final 18+ minutes of the game. Four Jaguars finished in double-figures as Stephen Thomas scored his 15 all in the second half and junior Alex Young handed out a career-high seven assists and scored 12 points. Junior Christian Siakam recorded his team-high fifth double-double of the year with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Freshman Donovan Gibbs also played 15 key minutes off the bench, grabbing a career-high seven boards and scoring five points.

ORU earned a spot in the semifinals with an opening round win over North Dakota State on Saturday night. IUPUI comes in trailing the all-time series with the Golden Eagles 19-10 and has lost three of five postseason meetings to ORU. IUPUI is 5-4 all-time in The Summit League semifinals.
