INDIANAPOLIS - IUPUI will host Summit League leader Oakland University (17-8, 12-0 Summit) on Saturday night at Conseco Fieldhouse with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m. from the home arena of the NBA's Indiana Pacers. Pregame coverage with Scott McCauley (play-by-play) and Angelo Smith (analyst) will begin at approximately 6:55 on 88.3 FM. In addition, the game can be viewed live over the internet as part of the IUPUI LIVE! subscription service on IUPUIJags.com.

Saturday's game will pit the top two teams in The Summit as IUPUI (14-10, 8-3 Summit) knocked off IPFW on Thursday night in Conseco, 86-77. All five Jaguars scored in double-digits led by Alex Young's 23 and Stephen Thomas' career-high 19-point night. Thomas' high school teammate, Sean Esposito matched his career-high with 18 points (six threes), including hitting four triples early in the second half as the Jags built a 20-point lead.

IPFW cut the lead back to six, but IUPUI managed to stay in front with timely shooting and consistent makes at the charity stripe. Senior Leroy Nobles added 14 points on a subpar shooting night and junior Christian Siakam finished with 10 points, six rebounds and three blocked shots before fouling out.

IUPUI shot 56.9 percent from the floor and 50 percent from three overall. Esposito was 6-of-9 from beyond the arc and Thomas was a perfect 2-for-2.

IUPUI is the only Summit League foe to have beaten Oakland in either of the past two seasons as the Golden Grizzlies are 29-1 dating back to the start of league play in 2009-10. IUPUI is 23-6 in The Summit during that same stretch.
