SHREVEPORT, La. - The IUPUI basketball team will cap its 2010-11 regular season on Saturday night when the Jaguars take on Centenary College (1-28, 1-16 Summit) at 5:30 p.m. Eastern. Pregame coverage on 88.3 FM / The Walk will begin at approximately 5:25 as Scott McCauley (play-by-play) calls the action from courtside.

IUPUI (17-13, 11-6 Summit) dropped a 92-74 contest at Oral Roberts on Thursday night and will enter Saturday's game looking for a split on the two-game road trip and sweep of Centenary this season. Defensively, the Jaguars yielded a season-high 92 points on Thursday night and allowed ORU to hit 56 percent from the floor. Freshman forward Steven Roundtree led all five ORU starters in double-figures with a career-high 27 points and junior Dominique Morrison scored 21.

IUPUI junior Alex Young scored 26 and upped his Summit League best scoring average to 20.1 points per game. His partner in crime, senior Leroy Nobles, scored 15 points and junior forward Christian Siakam tallied 13 before fouling out. The Jaguars were down by 17 at the break and got no closer than 11 in the second half.

Centenary is fresh off its first win of the 2010-11 season after defeating Western Illinois 73-60 on Thursday night. The Gents will be dropping to NCAA Division III play next season and will trade in The Summit League for the American Southwest Conference. Maxx Nakwaasah leads Centenary at 12.1 points per game and Jeron Trotman comes in averaging 9.1 points and 6.3 rebounds a night.

IUPUI defeated Centenary 77-69 back on Dec. 2 in Indianapolis and owns a 9-3 lead in the all-time series with the Gents.
