WASHINGTON, D.C. - Coming off an emphatic 74-55 win over Texas Southern in The Jungle on Saturday, the Jaguars will face a tall order on Monday (Nov. 28) night when IUPUI (2-4) takes on Georgetown (4-1) inside the Verizon Center at 7:00 p.m. Eastern. The game will be televised regionally on MASN as Jason Knapp (pxp) and Mark Tillmon (analyst) call the action, while the game can be heard in the Indianapolis-market on WNDE 1260 as Scott McCauley (pxp) describes the action. His call can also be heard on WNDE.com and via the iHeartRadio app available for smartphones.

Monday's game marks the second-ever meeting between the two schools as the Hoyas claimed a 72-60 win over the Jags on Nov. 24, 1998 in D.C. in IUPUI's first year of Division I play. The Jags are 1-8 all-time against the BIG EAST with the lone win coming at Seton Hall in 2008.

This year's Jaguars are coming off their most impressive outing of the year as Summit League Preseason Player of the Year Alex Young pumped in a season-high 30 points and junior Sean Esposito rained in four straight second half threes as IUPUI ran away from TSU in the second half. IUPUI was clicking on all cylinders, hitting 47 percent from the floor and 42 percent from three, while outrebounding their opponent for just the second time this year. The Jaguars also handed out a season-high 20 assists, led by senior Stephen Thomas' career-high tying seven dimes.

Sophomore Ian Chiles also enjoyed a fantastic all-around game, closing with eight points, six boards, five assists and four steals. On the interior, both senior Christian Siakam and freshman Lyonell Gaines grabbed 10 boards each including seven offensive caroms for the former. Defensively, the Jaguars locked TSU up, allowing the guests just 34 percent from the field and 2-of-18 (11.1 percent) shooting from three-point range.

The IUPUI team will get a full dose of the nation's capital city as U.S. Senator Richard Lugar will be giving the Jaguars a tour of the U.S. Capitol on Monday morning.

On the court, Georgetown is off to an impressive start under John Thompson, III, going 4-1 in the early going including an overtime win over Memphis at the Maui Invitational. Senior guard Jason Clark leads four Hoyas averaging double-digits at 19 points per game and has hit 46.7 percent from three through five games. Senior center Henry Sims is netting 13.4 points and a team-high 4.2 assists per game, while grabbing 6.2 rebounds and having blocked a team-high eight shots so far this season. 6-foot-8 junior Hollis Thompson is also off to an impressive start, also averaging 13.4 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in his five starts.

The Hoyas come in shooting 51 percent from the floor and 38.6 percent from three-point land. They have also outrebounded their opponents by  five boards per game and forced nearly 17 turnovers per contest.
