1/14/2011 1:26:26 PM

INDIANAPOLIS - IUPUI Head Coach Ron Hunter and South Dakota State leader Scott Nagy will be working the sidelines in their bare feet on Saturday when the Jaguars host the Jackrabbits in The Jungle on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m.. The game marks the fourth year Hunter has coached a game in his bare feet as part of his continued partnership with Samaritan's Feet. The Charlotte-based non-profit helps collect and distribute shoes for the over 300 million people in need throughout the world.

Hunter first went barefoot in 2008 against Oakland and IUPUI (10-9, 4-2 Summit) is 2-1 in the previous three barefoot games. In addition, Saturday is NCAA Take A Kid to the Game Night as children 12-and-under will be admitted for free with a paid adult ticket. Kids will be given J.J. Jumper Growth Charts and NCAA rulers while supplies last.

The Jaguars come in to Saturday's game having won five of their past six outings including a hard fought 67-64 win over North Dakota State in The Jungle on Thursday. Senior Leroy Nobles scored a game-high 22 points, including the Jaguars' final 15 and junior Alex Young added 19 in the win. Junior Stephen Thomas added 15 while the rest of the squad contributed just 11 points on 15 shot attempts.

Nobles is averaging 18 points per game since a one-game absence to an ankle injury and is shooting 38.7 percent from three during that span. Young has tallied in double-digits in 10 straight and is netting nearly 20 per game since Dec. 9. Thursday's win over NDSU put IUPUI above .500 for the first-time this season.

SDSU (12-5, 4-2 Summit) has won four of its past five outings and blasted Western Illinois on Thursday night, 81-50 in Macomb, Ill.. Sophomore guard Nate Wolters leads The Summit in scoring (19.2 ppg), assists (6.1 apg) and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.7). His backcourt mate, Clint Sargent comes in netting 15.6 points per game and hitting 38.2 percent from three.

Collectively, SDSU is hitting 42.9 percent from three and making nearly nine per game. Four different Jackrabbits have hit at least 25 threes this season.

IUPUI is 5-1 all-time against SDSU and 3-0 in the previous three games played in Indianapolis.
