SACRAMENTO - Seeking to become the second IUPUI basketball player to be drafted in three years, senior Robert Glenn took part in a workout for the Sacramento Kings at their practice facility on Thursday (June 3) morning. The 6-foot-7 Glenn was joined in the workout by Trevon Hughes (Wisconsin), Tyren Johnson (UL-Lafayette), Dior Lowhorn (San Francisco), Deonta Vaughn (Cincinnati) and DeShawn Sims (Michigan).

The Kings hold the fifth and 33rd overall picks in this year's NBA Draft, which will be held on Thursday, June 24.

Glenn, who is represented by Michael Whitaker of REID Entertainment, also intends on working out for the Indiana Pacers on June 16. Whitaker is the agent for former Jag and current San Antonio Spur standout George Hill, who was picked 26th overall in the 2008 draft.

Glenn was named First Team All-Summit and First Team All-District 12 and was also picked to The Summit League’s All-Tournament Team. He also earned The Summit League Co-Player of the Year by CollegeInsider.com and Honorable Mention Mid-Major All-America by CollegeHoops.net this past season. He was one of 22 players picked to play in the Reese's College All-Star Game at Lucas Oil Stadium as part of Final Four weekend.

As a senior, he led The Summit in scoring at 19.8 points per game in 2009-10 while averaging a team-high 6.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game. The Indianapolis-native hit 58 percent of his field goal attempts and 75.5 percent at the charity stripe in 36 games. He finished his two-year career ranked No. 3 on IUPUI’s all-time list in blocked shots with 100 and tallied 1,131 career points.
