MACOMB, Ill. - Coming off a deflating 62-60 overtime loss to IPFW last weekend, the IUPUI basketball team looks to hop back on the winning horse on Saturday when it treks to Macomb to take on Western Illinois in Summit League action. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CST (8 EST) with Scott McCauley's pregame coverage beginning approximately 10 minutes prior.

IUPUI (16-8, 9-2 Summit) holds a 23-9 lead in the all-time series including defeating WIU (9-13, 2-9 Summit) 67-54 back on Jan. 9 in The Jungle. Senior Robert Glenn and sophomore Alex Young combined to score 35 points in that win while freshman Greg Rice chipped in a season-high 14 points off the bench.

Glenn did the bulk of his damage early while Young struck late including two key threes to help IUPUI maintain its lead. The 6-foot-6 lefty sealed the win with a steal and dunk in his 16-point effort. Glenn hit 7-of-10 shots as IUPUI finished the game shooting 50 percent from the floor.  Matt Lander led WIU with 14 points off the bench and David Gebru added 12.

Glenn is the reigning Summit League Player of the Week after averaging 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game and shooting 68 percent from the field last week. The 6-foot-7 forward also totaled five blocks and five steals in the two games and recorded his fifth career double-double with 15 points and a career-high 14 rebounds versus IPFW.

WIU won its last outing when it knocked off N.C. Central 53-50 on Tuesday night. David Nurse paced the Fighting Leathernecks with 15 points and eight boards and Ceola Clark had 13 points.
