INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI basketball team will conclude its four-game set at Conseco Fieldhouse on Sunday when it hosts IPFW in a 2:00 p.m. Summit League showdown. The game is being sponsored by the IUPUI Army ROTC and the Indiana Army National Guard and military personnel will be admitted for just $3 by showing a military ID at the Conseco box office.

In addition, the IUPUI Athletics Department in conjunction with the Wounded Warrior Project, will be recognizing Michael Reid before the game, an eight-year veteran in the U.S. Army who served in both Germany and stateside. Reid was injured in Iraq and exited the service as a Sgt. Combat Engineer. He now works for the Department of Vet Affairs Health Administration in Indianapolis and is the father of four.

The IUPUI Army ROTC will display the Army Orange County Chopper and an interactive Hummer near the entrance of Conseco Fieldhouse as fans enter. Halftime entertainment will be provided by the Indy Air Bears, a nationally recognized jump rope team from the southside of Indianapolis. Recently inducted members of the IUPUI Hall of Fame are also expected to be in attendance and will be recognized throughout the afternoon.

On the court, Head Coach Ron Hunter's team is coming off an impressive 78-54 thumping of first-place Oakland on Thursday night as Robert Glenn tallied a game-high 26 points in the victory. Sophomore Alex Young recorded his first collegiate double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds and senior Jon Avery chipped in 18 points off the bench.

The Jags avenged an earlier loss to Oakland by outrebounding the taller Golden Grizzlies 46-26 on Thursday night. IUPUI (16-7, 9-1 Summit) outscored OU 58-24 in the paint and all but abandoned the typically fruitful three-point shot, going 1-of-7 from deep.

IPFW is led by Head Coach Dane Fife and senior forward Deilvez Yearby. Yearby, last year's Summit League Sixth Man of the Year, is averaging 15.4 points and 8.9 rebounds per game this year and been picked the league's player of the week three times already this season. In the backcourt, Fife relies on the sweet shooting trio of Ben Botts, Zach Plackemeier and Nick Daniels.

All three scored in double-digits on Thursday as IPFW (10-10, 5-5 Summit) outlasted Western Illinois, 63-58 in Macomb. IUPUI leads the all-time series with IPFW 22-9 and has won nine straight over the 'Dons.
