KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The IUPUI basketball team will its season-best four-game winning streak on the line when it takes on UMKC (9-9, 3-4 Summit) inside Municipal Auditorium on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. CST (8:05 EST). Pregame coverage will begin at approximately 6:55 as Scott McCauley (play-by-play) calls the action.
All four wins have come in Summit League play including a 75-60 win at Southern Utah on Thursday. In that contest, the Jaguars held the Thunderbirds to just 19 first half points and without a field goal for a nearly 12 minute stretch when they turned a 5-5 tie into a 21-6 advantage.

Robert Glenn led IUPUI (14-7, 7-1 Summit) with 24 points each and the Jaguars held The Summit's leading scorer coming in, Davis Baker, to just a single point. IUPUI outrebounded the bigger T-Birds 37-25, marking the highest rebounding advantage against a Division I foe this season.
Young overtook Baker as The Summit's top scorer on Thursday, upping his scoring average to 18.3 points per game. Glenn, a 6-foot-7 senior, is now second in the league at 18.1 points per and Baker slipped to fifth. IUPUI also boasts three of The Summit's top five three-point shooters, led by freshman
Sean Esposito who is tops at 47.2 percent. Behind him, Young is fourth at 44.2 percent and junior
Leroy Nobles is fifth at 44.1 percent. As a team, IUPUI ranks ninth nationally in three-point shooting at 41.7 percent.
IUPUI is 15-12 all-time against UMKC and has won eight of the past nine meetings dating back to 2006.
The Kangaroos are led by Evansville-transfer Jay Cousinard, who's scoring 12.7 points per game. Sophomore LaTreze Mushatt comes in netting 11.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game and classmate Trey McKinney-Jones comes in scoring 10.6 points per game. The 'Roos knocked off Western Illinois 61-57 on Thursday as Mushatt and Cousinard scored 14 each.
