MACOMB, Ill. - Playing its final regular season primer before March Madness begins, the IUPUI Jaguars will head west to take on Western Illinois (9-19, 6-11 Summit) on Saturday night inside Western Hall. Tipoff is slated for 8:00 p.m. EST (7 CST) with XL 950's pregame coverage beginning at 7:30. The game is also available as part of the IUPUI LIVE! package, or on SummitTV.

Western took the previous meeting from the Jaguars, winning 58-48 in The Jungle on Dec. 6 of this season. The loss snapped IUPUI's (15-13, 8-9) 19-game winning streak over the Leathernecks as the Jags have won eight straight inside Western Hall.

IUPUI has already locked up a berth in the upcoming Summit League Tournament to be held next weekend in Sioux Falls, S.D., while Western and Centenary are jockeying for the final spot in the season's final weekend.

IUPUI junior Robert Glenn has terrorized Summit League opponents, averaging 16.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in 17 league contests. His frontcourt mate, junior Jon Avery comes in tops in The Summit in field goal percentage at 67.7 percent. The 6-foot-7 Avery is on pace to shatter the school record in that category.

Overall, IUPUI is 23rd in the country in field goal shooting, knocking down 47.6 percent collectively.

Sophomore swingman Leroy Nobles has played a major role in the offensive upswing, hitting nearly 50 percent of his threes in league play. The 6-foot-5 Nobles scored 16 points in the loss to Oakland last Saturday, tying his season-high of four threes made.

Western, under first-year Head Coach Jim Molinari, is shooting 39.4 percent from three and is led by senior swingman David DuBois. DuBois comes in averaging 18 points and six rebounds per game and is the only WIU player scoring in double-digits.
