INDIANAPOLIS - IUPUI will host North Dakota State in a Summit League tilt inside The Jungle on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m.. Both teams come in having won their league openers on Thursday night while the all-time series is tied at 2-2.
IUPUI (6-2, 1-0 Summit) handled South Dakota State on Thursday night, 79-57. Senior
Robert Glenn led the way with 21 points and
Leroy Nobles added 16. Junior point guard
John Ashworth continued his hot play with 10 points, eight assists and four rebounds.
NDSU (3-3, 1-0 Summit), which made its first-ever NCAA Tournament berth a year ago, escaped past Western Illinois on Thursday, 60-55. Eric Carlson led the Bison with 19 points and Josh Vaughan added 13, including four freebies in the final 30 seconds to help seal the game.
IUPUI won both games during the 2007-08 season and NDSU swept the home-and-home series a year ago.
