KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Coming off two of its best offensive performances of the season, IUPUI seeks its third straight road win when it travels to Kansas City to take on UMKC on Saturday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. EST with XL 950's pregame coverage beginning at 7:30.

The Jaguars have handed out at least 20 assists in their past two victories and shot a combined 60 percent from the floor during that stretch. IUPUI has never had three straight 20 assist games at the Division I level.

Junior Robert Glenn has shouldered the load on the inside, averaging 21 points and 8.5 rebounds the past two games. Glenn is one of two players to rank among the top 10 in both scoring and rebounding in Summit League play. The 6-foot-7 Ben Davis product has led IUPUI (11-10, 4-6 Summit) in scoring in seven of 10 league games.

Junior Jon Avery has also played well since returning from injury, hitting 85 percent of his shots the past three games and averaging 12.3 points a ballgame. Avery had 15 points and a team-high eight rebounds in IUPUI's 79-64 win at Southern Utah on Thursday.

On Thursday, IUPUI looks for a season sweep of UMKC (6-17, 2-8 Summit) inside Kemper Arena, having claimed the previous meeting in Indianapolis, 72-69 on New Year's Eve. Glenn had 18 points and nine rebounds in that win while UMKC's Dane Brumagin led all scorers with 23.

IUPUI led by 10 with five minutes left, but had to rally late to escape with the win. UMKC scored 10 straight to tie the game with 2:30 to play, but three straight defensive stops and a clutch Glenn jumper played critical roles in the victory.

The Jaguars coaching staff has fond memories of Kemper as it won the 2003 Mid-Continent Conference Tournament inside the 19,500 seat facility. Current Assistant Coach Matt Crenshaw sank the game-winning bucket to drop Valparaiso, 66-64 on March 11, 2003.
