DETROIT - The IUPUI women's soccer team will open up its 2008 campaign on Monday night, taking on host Detroit at 4:00 p.m.. Detroit opened its season on Friday afternoon, dropping a 3-1 decision to Central Michigan.
The Titans were 4-11-4 last season and finishing sixth in the Horizon League.
IUPUI dropped its lone preseason contest at Western Michigan by a 6-1 score. Junior
Katrina McCrory scored the Jags' lone goal and starting goalkeeper
Jamie Farrell allowed two of the six scores in just over 60 minutes work.

Chris Johnson used 21 different players, including eight rookies, in that contest.
Last season, IUPUI and Detroit hooked up for a 0-0 double overtime tie at Kuntz Stadium. Farrell recorded six saves in her fourth career shutout and the Jags outshot their guests 20-9.
