INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI Jaguars look for their 19th straight home win on Tuesday when they host  IU South Bend (3-6) inside The Jungle for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff. Pregame coverage begins on XL 950 at 6:30 as Greg Rakestraw handles the call.

IUPUI leads the all-time series 9-1 including a 96-61 win over the Titans on Nov. 12 last season.

IUPUI (4-2) comes in riding a three-game winning streak including a 76-68 win at Western Michigan on Saturday afternoon. Senior Gary Patterson made a triumphant return to the Jaguars' lineup with 16 points and a career-high eight assists in the win. Sophomore Leroy Nobles hit a career-high four threes, all in the second half, to finish with 15 points.

The Jaguars shot 73 percent from the floor, and 6-of-6 from three-point range, in the second half. Head Coach Ron Hunter's team built a 19-point second half lead and withstood a late 13-0 WMU rally to earn its first-ever road victory over a Mid-American Conference opponent. Junior Jon Avery continued his torrid play off the bench, chipping in 14 points and nine rebounds in a season-high 32 minutes.

The 6-foot-7 Avery is averaging 11.0 points in five games off the bench this season.

Hunter's squad continues to rank elite defensively, leading The Summit League in scoring defense, field goal defense and three-point defense. Junior Robert Glenn leads The Summit in blocked shots at 1.8 per game.

IUSB recently snapped a six-game losing skid with a win over Purdue North Central last Wednesday. Sharpshooting guard Tyler Leighton leads the Titans in scoring at 15.2 ppg and Ben Werner is averaging 14.6 points and 6.7 rebounds a game. The Titans are just 1-5 away from home under second year Head Coach Denny Parks.
