SHREVEPORT, La. -- The IUPUI women's basketball team will look to extend an unblemished mark against Centenary College Saturday afternoon, and in the process move to .500 in conference play.

The game will be carried live via SummitTV on The Summit League website, www.thesummitleague.org.  Fans can also follow the game via live stats on the Centenary website.

IUPUI (6-11, 2-3 Summit) has not won a Saturday, conference contest in three attempts, falling to Western Illinois, Southern Utah and South Dakota State.

However, the Jaguars are 8-0 all-time versus the Ladies of Centenary, sweeping the season series in each of the past four years.  Jernisha Cann has been a force in her four games against Centenary, averaging 14.3 points and 11.5 rebounds.  Fellow junior Brykeesha Tate has also found success against the Ladies, averaging 4.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists in four games.

For the season, Cann is leading the Jags with 11.9 points and 9.5 rebounds in 17 games.  Julia Whitted has formed a formidable duo with Cann, putting up 11.4 points and 6.9 boards in 17 starts.

Centenary (3-12, 0-5) has suffered through a difficult opening conference schedule.  Four of the Ladies' conference losses have come against teams in the top five spots of The Summit, standings-wise.  Leading scorer Cierra Bush has missed the past seven games for Centenary, allowing Ashley Jackson and Anne Farrell to step into scoring roles.  Jackson is posting 10.1 points, while Farrell is averaging 10.3 points per game.

The Jaguars will venture to Tulsa, Okla., following the game, to take on the Golden Eagles of Oral Roberts on Monday.  Tipoff from the Mabee Center will be at 7:05 CT.
