INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI basketball team will host North Dakota State on Thursday night in a Summit League showdown in The Jungle, with tipoff slated for 7:00 p.m.. The Jaguars (11-3, 3-0) enter play tied with Oral Roberts for the top spot in the conference and ranked No. 18 in this week's CollegeInsider.com's Mid-Major Top 25.
IUPUI will close the week against South Dakota State in a men's and women's doubleheader on Saturday.
NDSU (8-7, 2-2) comes in as the conference's highest scoring team at 81.2 points per game. Junior point guard Ben Woodside leads the league in scoring at 21.8 per night while junior forward Brett Winkelman is second in scoring at 21.7 and first in rebounding at 8.5 a night. Winkelman is averaging 24.8 points per game through NDSU's first four Summit League tilts.

The reigning Summit League Player of the Week posted a career-high 34 points last Thursday night in a 77-72 win at UMKC. Two nights later, he turned in 30 points, 10 rebounds and six assists as IUPUI rolled past Southern Utah, 78-61. He recently moved up to 11th on IUPUI's all-time scoring list with 1,233 career points. He needs 15 points to move to tenth all-time.
