George Hill became the 18th member of IUPUI's 1,000 Point Club last Sunday night, while finishing with a season-best 26 points as the Jags rolled past host Alaska, 82-47. The Jags surged out to a 41-10 lead over the NCAA Division II foe, which beat Oregon State the previous night to earn its spot in the fourth-place game.
After opening the season with four of five games away from home, IUPUI (3-2) will now play five of its next six in The Jungle.
Chicago State (2-3) is led by 5-foot-8 point guard David Holston, who enters play averaging 26.6 points a night and is hitting nearly 59 percent from three-point range.
Tickets are available on the night of the game for $10 apiece, while student tickets were distributed last week. Students will be admitted for free at tip time, depending on availability.
