Former women's soccer standout Sophia Lipka was named to the IU Indy Athletics Hall of Fame in the Class of 2026. Lipka, an Indianapolis-native, finished her career as the program's all-time leader in shutouts (21.0) and goals against average (1.08) while ranking second all-time in wins (30) and minutes played (5105:37).
Lipka helped lead the Jaguars to the program's first-ever Horizon League Championship and an NCAA Tournament berth as a sophomore in 2017. That season she was named the Horizon League's Goalkeeper of the Year and Horizon League Tournament MVP after the Jaguars advanced past top-seeded Milwaukee on penalty kicks in the championship.
For her career, she was a two-time All-Horizon League honoree and four-time Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week selection. She also was named the #NCAASoccer National Player of the Week once during her prolific career.
