Marianne (Tobolski) Collar was inducted into the IUPUI Hall of Fame in 2022, recognizing her achievements on the volleyball court for the program. Collar was a two-time NAIA All-American in her two years in an IUPUI uniform, helping the program to historic heights. Her senior year, she was a third team NAIA All-American and helped IUPUI to a 30-2 mark.

However, in 1991, she helped lead IUPUI to an NAIA National Runner-up finish, 40-5 overall record and the NAIA District 21 Bi District X Championship. In doing so, she was named a second team All-American and to the NAIA National All-Tournament Team. She was a two-time NAIA District 21 Player of the Year and two-time All-District selection. She was a four-time NAIA District 21 Player of the Week honoree during her prestigious career.
