IU Indy Softball Complex

The IU Indianapolis Softball Complex, located on campus, is host to all home softball games. Built in preparation for the 1987 Pan American Games, the complex includes three adjacent fields, highlighted by Field 2 at the main entrance of the complex.

Most recently, a new wireless nine inning scoreboard was installed beyond the centerfield fence and the playing surface has received upgraded drainage systems. Plans are in place to build a press box behind home plate in the coming years.

There is permanent seating to accommodate approximately 500 while the facility can easily allow for well over 2,000 with temporary seating and standing room around the complex. Located adjacent to Michael A. Carroll Stadium, the IU Indy Softball Complex has hosted numerous prominent events during its nearly 40 years of existence.
