Former Jaguar Mia Moody joined the IUPUI coaching staff in August 2013. The Indianapolis-native most recently served as an assistant coach for the Valparaiso University soccer program during the summer of 2008.
In 2008, Moody brought her passion for attack to the Crusaders’ offense, helping them post a 7-2-1 record at home on the way to a 10-6-3 season overall.
Moody arrived at Valpo after playing two seasons with IUPUI, where she scored four goals and added an assist during her career.
She began her career at the University of Texas before transferring to the Jaguars’ program in 2004. Moody earned Academic All Mid-Continent Conference Team honors while at IUPUI.
Moody has also gained coaching experience as an assistant coach at Roncalli High School during the 2007-2008 season as well as working with the Dynamo Club from 2005-2007. She has earned her United States Soccer Federation National “D” License.
Moody is a 2007 graduate of IUPUI with a concentration in social and behavioral science. She earned her master’s degree in sports administration at Valparaiso University.
