Hayward helped the Jags to their first win of the season with a three-set win against Tennessee State. The sophomore earned the win after dropping the first set, coming back with a 6-3 win in set two and a 6-2 win in set three. In doubles play, Hayward teamed with Ines Rivera to win 6-4 at the No. 2 doubles spot.
