Savage was IUPUI's top finisher at the Joe Piane-Notre Dame Invitational, clocking a 5-mile time of 24:57.13 to finish 23rd overall. In doing so, he led the Jaguars to an eighth place finish with wins over UTEP, Auburn, Clemson and Valpo, among others.
