Alex Jochim began his sophomore year with a strong showing at the Butler Invitational over the weekend. Jochim finished the weekend with a 4-1 singles record, winning his first two singles matches before falling in the third round in three sets. Jochim then won his next two matches in the consolation round to close out the tournament.
